There are certain people in life you meet and decide instantly that you need to be friends with them. Nicole and Dorian are those people. (Just look at that Harry Potter engagement ring!!) We aren’t usually booked up in January, so it was a first to get a double booking in the middle of winter in the middle of the month, so this wedding was shot by Tiffany and Michelle! There was not only a great energy that instantly radiated from this couple as people, but a true, palpable, authentic devotion between the two of them that couldn’t help but make you want to stand up and applaud the fact that they had found each other, and were getting married. The wedding promised to be a joyous, fun-filled carnival, held at the Four Crowns Inn in Winnipeg prior to their honeymoon to Trinidad, with a colour scheme of navy, rose, and gold.
We were lucky enough to have access to the Hamilton Building for formal photos with the wedding party (sadly they are no longer taking bookings for wedding photography!) before heading to the Four Crowns for the ceremony and reception for a beautiful, intimate ceremony followed by a party and a half – complete with a performance from the groom and his cousin! Congratulations, Nicole and Dorian, on your beautiful love story <3
