It may have taken me a little bit longer to share my 2019 wrap-up post, but that’s probably because wedding season didn’t wrap up until New Year’s Eve and resumed again less than two weeks later with a double-wedding-weekend in mid-January (these couples were serious troopers in this weather!)!
2019 was our biggest one yet, with 34 weddings in Manitoba, Ontario, BC and the Caribbean as well as countless maternity/newborn, family and holiday sessions here in Winnipeg.
I was also honoured to be accepted into Fearless Photographers, which up until now had been my biggest goal in photography; rank in the Top 15 Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada and judge the summer contest for the PWPC, and earn a spot in and win an Award of Excellence from the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers. These are things I never imagined happening, and words cannot describe my excitement or appreciation!!
Which leads me to the biggest part of this post: An enormous THANK YOU to each and every person that trusted us to capture some incredible memories this year. It is always such an honour and a privilege not only to be able to witness and share in these moments, but to immortalize them in their raw authenticity and provide what may end up being special family heirlooms! Thank you for your trust and faith, thank you for sharing your joy, thank you to those special clients who’ve become dear friends, and thank you to my amazing team who’ve helped create some truly epic moments.
2020 will mark year number five in this fantastic job, and I can’t wait to dive into it and capture even more incredible love stories! Wishing you and yours happiness and the most wonderful adventures this coming year!
