What an exciting session, but more an exciting journey to be a part of! Last spring, I had the honour of being called by our very own Taylor’s boyfriend (spoiler, now fiancé) to make arrangements to drive out to their couple’s getaway cabin weekend, hide in the bushes (harder than you’d think when the leaves haven’t yet graced us with their presence!) and capture the moment he asked her to marry him. When fall rolled around, it was the perfect time to shoot their engagement photos – the colours of the season are always glorious, but out in Holland, we got to overlook a valley of oranges and yellows, dance under a sunset by the water, pop champagne and light up churches in pink and yellow, and end the night chasing a windmill, under a harvest moon, and setting off smoke grenades. I cannot wait for their wedding next month!!
