When I first heard from Taylor, I was so excited that her biggest question related to me potentially photographing her wedding was if I’d be okay working with dogs. Bring me all the animals!! This year I got to shoot a wedding with a llama, baby goats and wild turkeys roaming around the ceremony site – I’m thrilled whenever animals get to be part of the wedding celebrations! Taylor and TJ live out in Gimli with their three dogs and cat, all of whom will be joining us at next year’s big day, and on the last weekend of September, I got to drive out through the most beautiful autumn colours to meet them in person. We ventured around a campground, climbed hay bales (owned by the family!), wandered along the beach, and the genuine love and laughter between them made for some awesome photos under a brilliant blue sky. Very excited to shoot what’s going to be an incredibly fun day next summer!
