It’s definitely something special when you’re able to have your children not only witness your wedding day, but also be part of your wedding party! April and Mike were married after being together for 18 years (!) in a ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church, followed by photos at the Manitoba Legislative Building, Upper Fort Garry, and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights before heading to the beautiful Petrus Hall for their reception. It was an absolutely freezing day, but everyone was in amazing spirits and were major troopers at the various outdoor locations in the snow! I definitely started crying during Mike’s speech with April when he turned to her, and in front of everyone, proclaimed how she still gives him butterflies after all these years. A beautiful couple, and a beautiful adventure of a day – big congratulations to these two!
