What a glorious day for a wedding! D & R were another of our couples whose plans were affected by the pandemic, but Taylor and I were delighted to share a full day with them in a gorgeous summer celebration. The numbers were a little less than planned due to the restrictions, but it didn’t stop them having an incredible day surrounded by their nearest, dearest, and thanks to the magic of modern livestreaming, even the furthest could be present as they exchanged vows.

I love that they actually met in person when the bride used to work at Shopper’s Drug Mart. He would always keep coming in and chatting with her, and the rest was history!

The ceremony took place at Inn at the Forks here in Winnipeg, with photos scheduled around The Forks and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights – always one of my favourite places to shoot. The variety of architecture always makes me excited to see how I can make it look differently epic every time. We met back up with their guests at IATF’s restaurant, Smith, afterward for an amazing spread, and left them to enjoy the rest of their night at the hotel.

Both bride and groom were exceptionally dapper, with the bride in a timelessly elegant gown purchased on a trip to New York!
